Compressed air is one of the safest, but one of the most expensive forms of energy in companies. Due to leaks in valves, control air hoses, sealing air and piping, the energy often escapes completely unused. Energy recovery

Air contains a base level of energy at atmospheric pressure, which increases during the compression process.

Approximately 94 % of the electrical energy is converted into compression heat. If energy recovery is not used, the recovered heat is lost to the atmosphere via the cooling system and radiation.

Approximately 70 % of all industrial processes use hot water or steam. As a result, energy recovery modules can reduce the fuel costs as well as the maintenance costs of alternative equipment.

Around 94 % of a compressor’s electrical power consumption is released in the form of heat. The use of waste water is therefore an important criterion for the energy efficiency of the compressed air station.
