Coming soon – The new LGAir

Filtration Group Industrial’s new LGAir is an aerosol separator that meets the challenges of metal-cutting machine tools and provides the clean air workers need.

In machining and forming processes, cooling lubricants are used from which oil mist is formed under high pressure and heat development. This must be extracted from the machine’s work area and cleaned in order to comply with legally defined specifications for maximum workplace concentration (MAK) and occupational exposure limits (AWG).

In order to continue to serve applications in the low performance spectrum with regard to aerosol loading, Filtration Group Industrial is currently developing an additional LGA series.

The LGAir is an aerosol separator that meets the challenges of the metal cutting machine tool and provides the necessary clean air to the employees. The filtration is subdivided into pre-separation, main, fine and a HEPA filtration. The specially matched filter stages can be used for oil and emulsion applications. As is usual with the already familiar LGA series, they are installed on the roof of the machine tools / machining centers or on a frame to the side. Separated oils or emulsions are discharged via the proven coolant return systems. The LGAir is designed to be service-friendly, so that elements can be changed without tools during maintenance work. The LGAir will be available as a BASIC and ADVANCE variant.
