Company history
2000
The history of FILCOM GmbH begins: Foundation of the company by Karl-Heinz Schnitzer with specialization in the distribution of spare parts for compressors and tire inflation technology.
2001
The company moves to Riedstraße. As a result, FILCOM significantly increases its storage space and establishes a service department with the aim of carrying out repairs and maintenance on complete compressed air stations on a regional basis.
A SUCCESS STORY CONTINUES
2003
FILCOM GmbH becomes official support dealer of KAESER Kompressoren SE, a worldwide successful compressor manufacturer and compressed air system supplier.
2012
FILCOM launches its onlineshop, offering over 25,000 quality items and products from well-known manufacturers such as BEKO Technologies, Filtration Group, MANN Filter and Parker Hannifin.
FILCOM is awarded as official premium partner of Filtration Group GmbH in the field of industrial filtration technology.
2013
FILCOM becomes a certified distributor of Parker Hannifin GmbH, a leading manufacturer in compressed air and gas treatment.
2017
FILCOM GmbH receives the offical SIGMA CLUB award and is now a planning and trading partner of KAESER Kompressoren SE.
After 17 years, the company is sold to the three long-time employees Wilfried Leitenberger, Nicolai Maxa and Oliver Unrath. As managing partners, they will jointly lead the company with immediate effect.
As part of the realignment of BorgWarner Aftermarket organization, FILCOM GmbH will become the official sales partner for the oil temperature regulator division of BorgWarner Aftermarket Europe GmbH starting July 1st.
2020
FILCOM GmbH looks back on 20 years of successful company history and celebrates its company anniversary on July 23rd.
2022
Since 01 January 2022, FILCOM GmbH is officially authorized cooperation partner for the aftermarket bilgewater deoiling business for Filtration Group GmbH based in Hamburg. As a long-standing premium partner of Filtration Group Industrial, FILCOM GmbH will take over the spare parts business for the bilgewater deoiling sector with immediate effect.
Since 01 November 2022, FILCOM GmbH has moved to its new headquarters in Ostfildern. In new and larger premises, the team wants to further advance growth, innovation and digitalization. In the building in Schönbuchstraße, FILCOM GmbH offers customers and suppliers even better services and faces the challenges of the future together as a team.
2023
Since 01 April 2023 FILCOM GmbH is the first “Sales Partner” of Hengst Filtration. As a new, official sales partner, FILCOM GmbH will focus even more on the filtration market in the future and offer customers and partners an even more comprehensive analysis and expertise for their applications.
