An animal that is equally popular with children and adults at Easter time, as well as a real best-seller for chocolate manufacturers, is currently proudly presenting itself again on store shelves: the chocolate Easter bunny! Around 220 million chocolate Easter bunnies are produced in Germany every year.

Compressed air is indispensable in chocolate production. Compressed air is used as early as the goods receiving stage, when the various raw materials are transported in powder form to their destination. Further down the line, compressed air is used as control air, for example for switches. In the production of chocolate bunnies, compressed air as an energy source is needed to operate valves and cylinders in the machines. In the packaging process, compressed air is used to remove bunnies that do not meet the quality standard 100%. And last but not least, compressed air is used to clean the chocolate mass lines.
