A practical sticker from Hengst Filtration makes it possible to identify the appropriate filter element at a glance. This allows machine operators and maintenance personnel to save time that they can use for other tasks.
Little things can often make the lives of machine operators and maintenance personnel of hydraulic systems unnecessarily difficult. An example of this is the nameplate on the filter housing, which is often so inconveniently placed that it is difficult to see or not accessible at all. This means that you either have to look in the system documentation or in old file folders – or even have to remove the old filter element. This time-consuming process is simplified by a practical solution from Hengst Filtration.
Each filter element is provided with a sticker containing a unique product key and a QR code that leads directly to the Hengst Filtration website. The sticker also sticks to oil-wetted surfaces of the filter housing and provides a field for labeling the last change date. This ensures easy and clear identification of the filter element to be changed for future changes.
Since the acquisition of Bosch Rexroth’s hydraulic and lubricating oil filtration business in 2021, the sticker includes both the current Hengst material numbers and the previous Bosch Rexroth material numbers to ensure that end users always find the right filter element. In order to achieve improved cleaning performance, a higher dirt holding capacity and increased pressure resistance, the inner workings of the current filter element generation have been optimized. These improvements lead to longer filter element change intervals and reduce the frequency of hydraulic oil changes, which in turn reduces costs and conserves valuable resources. The filter elements with PURE POWER consist of an innovative six-layer material combination, including three inorganic microglass layers that ensure a high retention rate with minimal pressure losses, supplemented by an electrically conductive anti-static fleece.
Hengst Filtration not only offers a variety of filter elements, but also a wide range of innovative filter housings, such as the new in-line filter 250 LEN.
This uses the patented cyclone effect, which guides the incoming medium tangentially to the filter element, whereby coarse dirt particles are effectively separated and the service life of the filter is significantly extended. By combining the cyclone effect with filter elements with PURE POWER, significantly more particles are absorbed, while at the same time offering an outstanding retention rate and low differential pressure.
In order to make operation easier even in times of shortage of skilled workers, Hengst Filtration optionally integrates measuring connections with installed measuring couplings directly on the filter housing. This measure allows end users to directly install sensors for pressure, temperature and particle counters and to integrate filtration into condition monitoring. This ranges from regular visual inspections by operators to networked measurement recording and evaluation in higher-level systems.
