Machining gray cast iron, free-cutting steels and brass produces short chips and a considerable amount of fine dust. Filtration Group Industrial dedusting systems effectively separate the coarse chips already in the inlet area and considerably reduce the dust load on the machine and the surrounding area – with maximum service life of the filter elements due to optimum flow guidance.
FG filter elements guarantee maximum filter area in the smallest possible space thanks to pleat spacing (pleat lock / ridges technology) combined with the appropriate cleaning systems (MJD/RLD) for optimum cleaning even at high differential pressures.

Powder coating involves coating electrically conductive materials with powder paint. The team of Filtration Group Industrial has deployed a rectangular dust collector at a leading global manufacturer of equipment and systems for surface treatment with powder ad wet coatings, as well as paints and other liquid materials. The coating plant consists of a surface pre-treatment zone, an electronic coating zone, and and intermediate main dryer. The parts to be coated are transported by a conveyor system during the treatment process. The powder coating particles are first fluidized. During this process, the powder must be cleaned of fibers, coarse particles and dirt. The SFK-09 dedusting unit used is equipped with Quick-Lock filtere elements in conical design. The filter material used, with a filter area of 15 m², achieves a high separation efficiency in the fine dust range. Drawers on the dedusting unit are used as dust collector to save overall height. Filtration Group has realized a cost –effective compact solution for the customer by optimally adapting the filter unit to the spatial conditions.
