Duplex filters provide the most economical solution in the low- and medium-pressure ranges, with one-hand operation and loss-free switching of the fluid flow. Ready to use around the clock and without interrupting operations, duplex filters allow elements to be changed out during operation.
FG duplex filters are particularly suitable for use in machines and engines. They are installed downstream of the pump, after the pressure relief valve, upstream of the component to be protected.

Installed upstream of the pump or particularly easy to maintain from the outside with a contamination indicator built into the suction line, suction filters ensure a high level of safety for the pump against coarse contamination. A large selection of system-compatbile elements protects systems and pumps in the fine range of 10 -25 µm with our Mic filter material or in the coarse range with cleanable wire mesh.
The advantages of hydraulic suction filters in mobile applications, such as hydrostatic drives, are undisputed. Suction filters as in-tank filters, also with closing valve for installation below the oil level, and as in-line filters for installation in the suction line.

To the extent that contaminants are not caught previously by pressure filters, return-line filters capture all of the dirt generated in the system and washed out of the hydraulic system, thereby preventing disastrous dirt circulation through the tank and the pump. Return-line filters are pre-dominantly designed as in-tank filters. The filter head is permanently attached to the tank, and the outlet opening of the filter extends into the tank. When fitted with additional equipment, return-line filters can also be used as filling filters.
Return flow filters have become an elementary component of modern hydraulic and lubrication systems. They ensure safe and economical production processes in the fluid system. Particularly in mobile applications such as in special vehicles as well as agricultural and construction machinery, the return flow filters take on the role of a working filter with defined oil purities.

Suction return-line filters are preferably used in mobile machines. The return flow is routed via the filter element. Part of the filtered oil is sucked in by the pump. The remaining part flows into the tank via the preloading valve. This provides the suction pump with finely filterred oil at positive pressure. If the return flow breaks off for a short time, the pump can suck in directly from the tank via a valve and via a coarse protective filter.
Their compact design predestines them for use in mobile hydraulic systems such as those found in agricultural and construction machinery.
MOBILE APPLICATIONS (hydraulic tanks of construction and agricultural machinery)
Air breathers are among the most important components of a filter concept. Equipped with the appropriate changeout elements and depending on the cleanliness class required, they ensure that the air supply to tanks is free of contaminants. The filter fineness must be selected according to the system filters.
In many applications, breather filters perform a central task in the filtration of transmission, lubrication and hydraulic oil by protecting the systems from external contamination. They ensure that hydraulic systems run significantly longer in high-performance operation than with conventional filters.

AIR BREATHERS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY (as well as all types of lubrication systems and gearboxes)
Desiccant breathers from Filtration Group Industrial prevent moist air from entering the hydraulic system. Moisture is extracted from the ambient air, preventing premature wear and damage to the sensitive components.
WIND TURBINES (Gearbox lubrication)
Use in primary flow
Especially for use in wind turbines, oil filter modules are used in the main stream to keep lubricating oils clean and thus the hydraulic elements running. Venting is integrated in the filter cover, and the drainage options are available on the dirt and clean side. The system guarantees simple and service-friendly handling. The high-performance 2-stage filter elements with PulseShield TM technology guarantee up to 30 percent higher dirt holding capacity compared to conventional filter elements.
Use in bypass filtration
For bypass filtration, this oil filter module is compatible with the previously used compact system. Finest particles as well as oil aging products (varnish) are guaranteed to be reliably separated thanks to the water-absorbing premium filter elements with PulseShield TM technology.
Oil filter modules are self-sufficient systems consisting of an electric motor, a gear pump and a filter. These are used for lubricant filtration in wind turbine gearboxes.

The portable, self-powered PiC 9300 contamination measuring system measures contaminants in hydraulic fluids and determines the cleanliness class. Calibrated for ISO 11171:1999 and evaluated for ISO 4406: 1999 and NAS 1638, the high-precision laser sensor uses the light blockade principle, which provides precise and reproducible particle counts.
Filtration Group’s handy and easy-to-use particle counter can easily and reliably measure the purity of lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids.
The use of filter elements can only be economically optimal when their dirt holding capacity can be fully utilized without risk. Mechanical or electronical sensors integrated in the filters or installed later respond to continuous changes in the pressure conditions that vary by contamination level and indicate them either via manometer or optical and optical-electrical switches, depending on design. With suction filters, low pressure is registered, while with pressure filters differential pressure is registered and with return line filters the dynamic pressure is registered. The operator can determine the optimal time for changing the filter elements without risk.

NEW ELECTRICAL UPPER PART
As part of a major redesign, Filtration Group Industrial has developed a new electrical top for maintenance indicators. The electrical top will be available from June 2023 and replaces the previous model. In addition to the proven technology, the focus was placed on a modern appearance.
Stable and differential pressure-resistant filter elements specially matched to the cleanliness class required in the application, the pressure conditions and the nature of the medium, guarantee a high dirt-holding capacity and thus ensure trouble-free and economical operation. In our comprehensive program of standard and DIN designs, you will also find alternatives for virtually any filter brands, as well as filter elements for aggressive fluids, cooling lubricants and aqueous media. Upon request, we also develop special customer-specific versions.
For the filtration of hydraulic and lubricating oils, but also various other fluids, Filtration Group Industrial supplies special filter elements with different media, folded in star shape. For machines and equipment of stationary and mobile systems, there are filter systems of the standard and norm series according to DIN 24550, which cover almost every field of application.

PULSESHIELD TECHNOLOGIE
The filter element and its structure are the decisive component of a fluid filter. While many market competitors often resort to cheap and inferior materials, they usually also buy from the same suppliers. Filtration Group Industrial, however, takes a different approach: filter materials are developed in close cooperation with selected manufacturers, some of whom are also members of Filtration Group Corporation.
FGI PulseShield technology works against the formation of wrinkle blocks. The outer jacket is placed over the pleat star and firmly fixed by thermal shrinkage, which mechanically secures the pleat tips. This process prevents uneven dirt loading and ensures unrestricted use of the filter area throughout the life of the filter element.
When it comes to replacement filter elements for stationary and mobile hydraulic systems, quality is required that efficiently meets all requirements and also pays for itself. We offer filter elements for a wide range of hydraulic applications for safe and economical replacement.

MOBILE HYDRAULIC FILTER AS LUBE OIL FILTER (for the protection of hydraulic systems))
GEAR OIL FILTRATION ON WIND TURBINES
Coalescer filters remove free water from hydraulic systems. They operate without absorbents, are cost efficient and effective. Specially arranged, special filter materials collect the water droplets suspended in the fluid and separate them.
Water plays a role in many applications of hydraulic systems: It is used both as an operating medium in the production process and for cooling. If it gets into the interior of hydraulic and lubrication systems, an acid is formed in conjunction with oil molecules, which corrodes components or causes so-called vapor bubbles to form, which cause great damage when they burst, especially in hydraulic valves and pumps.
