It is impossible to imagine modern hydraulic and lubrication systems without high-performance filter systems. They protect highly sensitive components, ensure compliance with the required purity of the fluid media, and provide the necessary reliability and economic efficiency of the systems.

Hengst Filtration is breaking new ground in the field of filter media and focusing on a holistic filtration concept with an increased dirt holding capacity. Machine and plant operators thus benefit from longer service intervals and can significantly reduce employee, material and disposal costs.

6 strong filter layers for maximum performance

Assymmetrical inorganic paper layers made of glass fiber form the core of the filter elements – Generation 5 PURE POWER. Thanks to an innovative filter technology, the filter elements reliably retain dirt particles. Extremely high dirt-holding capacity combined with low pressure drop is guaranteed. Three effective micro glass fiber layers inside the element combined with electrically conductive fleece and support fabric are responsible for the increased performance. The pleated star is arranged in a cylindrical shape around the support tube. The element is sealed against liquids at the top and bottom by end plates. The longitudinal seam of the pleated star is also bonded in a liquid-tight manner.

Higher dirt holding capacity guaranteed

Up to 50 % more dirt particles are retained by the new PURE POWER filter element series, with comparable dirt retention and low differential pressure. The integrated electrically conductive protective fleece ensures charge exchange between oil and filter material and is included as standard in all filter elements. This prevents electrical discharges in the filter.

A development that leaves nothing to chance

Pure Power was developed to absorb the five most important contaminants – for improved filtration. To ensure optimum protection, several filter components have been individually matched and further developed.

This allows the five most common types of contamination in hydraulic fluid to be bound and efficiently removed. At Hengst Filtration, the latest technologies are used to continuously improve every aspect of hydraulic filtration.

New filter material effectively blocks contamination

The latest generation of PUWER POWER filter elements benefits from a state-of-the-art 6-ply fiberglass material. This design offers two main advantages:

  • A dirt-holding capacity increased by up to 50% – the more dirt a filter can hold, the longer the operating times and the shorter the replacement intervals.
  • A reliable filtration efficiency based on an innovative three-layer glass fiber technology

This can minimize operating costs and extend the service life.
