These costs can usually be significantly reduced by correct lubrication. In addition to the choice of the right lubricant, the right quantity also plays a not negligible role. This can be optimized, for example, by using a central lubrication system.
Together with Bearing Man Group Ltd., Filtration Group successfully implemented a new project for a global productivity provider in the mining and cement industry. The project was to demonstrate the competence for a lubrication system in a new bauxite grinding mill, which is part of the Utkal Aluminium project in Odisha, India. This lubrication system is similar to an earlier project that BMG had already successfully installed in 2010. The specific lubrication unit is designed for a hydrostatic lubrication system for the mill bearings and journals, with each mill having two lubrication points. The system developed by Bearing Man Group has an offline conditioning circuit with filtration. Installed Filtration Group filters and contamination indicators ensure that the required cleanliness classes are maintained.
