The Blue House offers families with children suffering from cancer a temporary home on 900 m² spread over 3 floors. Here, affected families can live during the inpatient or outpatient treatment of their children, come to rest and, above all, be very close to their loved ones.
The Blue House is centrally located near Stuttgart’s Olgahospital. The exchange between affected families can help tremendously in difficult times and also give strength. That is why there is plenty of room for encounters at the Blue House. Because through encounters, worries and suffering can be shared and many things can be experienced from a different perspective.
With the help of the innovative SilentCare indoor air filter, the risk of infection with pathogens in the indoor rooms of the Blue House was significantly reduced. This also enabled families with children suffering from cancer to enjoy a safe environment during the Corona pandemic.
For the counseling sessions in the aftercare counseling center, the room air filter could be used flexibly and mobile thanks to the equipment with rollers. This also meant that group sessions could be held again, which make an important contribution to the families.
“The SilentCare provides security during uncertain times and protects our Blue House guests and visitors to our counseling center for children with cancer and their families.”
