Compressed air requirements in Australia

New South Wales is a state in the south-east of Australia with Sidney as its capital. New South Wales was discovered by the English navigator Captain James Cook in 1770. The name goes back to him because he compared the landscape forms there with those of South Wales and thus gave the first British colony in Australia its name.

Sidney is the headquarters of a customer of KAESER Kompressoren specialising in the repair of tyres and rims. The customer offers a professional service with a corresponding quality guarantee. Safety is a major concern when repairing a damaged magnetic wheel. Therefore, each alloy wheel is worked on by hand by a technician. Compressed air is used here: be it for inflating the tyres , driving the pneumatic tools or painting the repaired rims.

Challenge

The company which was founded 17 years ago, decided to move a larger buidling. The owner’s premise here was to invest in a high-quality and reliable compressed air system in order to be able to offer customers at the new company location a professional service with consistent quality.

Solution statement

  • KAESER used two KAESER AIRCENTER SM 12 for this project, which are controlled and monitored by a KAESER SIGMA AIR MANAGER control system.
  • The use of KAESER AIRCENTER systems increases efficiency and minimises internal pressure losses.
  • KAESER AIRCENTER compressed air systems are equipped with a high-performance screw compressor, a refrigeration dryer and a compressed air receiver in a compact housing.
  • Integrated KAESER SIGMA CONTROL 2 controls the compressor.

Customer value

  • Efficient and environmentally friendly use of compressed air in a minimal footprint
  • Compact KAESER AIRCENTER units are energy-saving and low-noise
  • KAESER Sigma Control 2 system enables reliable and oriented operational monitoring
  • Variable cutting speeds increase flexibility
  • User-friendly system design makes all maintenance points easy to reach
