Car workshops

Nothing works here without compressed air.

Compressed air – the capital of every auto repair shop

Demand-oriented, oil-free and economical. This is how the compressed air system of every auto repair shop must be. For a long time, compressed air has only been used to pump up wheels. In the meantime, far more operations are covered by it. One of the most important tools is certainly the compressed air screwdriver, which is part of the everyday tool.

In order to provide compressed air efficiently and reliably at all workplaces, a compressed air system with a compressor is required. The compressor generates air and presses it into a tank. The tank has the task of supplying compressed air to all workshop bays via a compressed air pipe system. Compressed air tools can be connected and compressed air obtained via a standardized connection. If the pressure in the supply tank falls below a certain level, the compressor goes into operation and produces an appropriate supply.

KAESER oil-free workshop compressors i.Comp series

PERFECTLY STYLED COMPRESSED AIR

How does it work? An optimum supply of compressed air plays a major role – whether you’re a hobby mechanic or a professional auto repair shop. Nothing is worse than bubbles forming when painting cars or a car lift without power, or a compressed air screwdriver that runs out of air in no time. This will definitely not happen with a compressed air supply from KAESER.

The specifications for a well-functioning compressed air supply are always the same – both for a hobbyist’s backyard garage and for a certified master workshop. Reliability and economy always have priority. The exact amount of compressed air required is supplied by oil-free piston compressors from KAESER. These are driven by a speed-controlled motor. A reliable employee – definitely the KAESER  i.Comp family.

ON HAND AS A PROFESSIONAL

This is how KAESER i.Comp series compressors can be described. Constant switching frequency, effective fans and efficient cooling air flow characterize these units. Even at 500 wheels, the compressors never run out of breath.

A silent companion – DEFINITV. The piston compressor from the i.Comp family shines with a sound pressure level of max. 65.7 dB(A). And it is definitely undemanding, because it only requires a footprint of less than 1 m², making it extremely space-saving. And for absolute shine, it definitely contributes its best during painting as well – because the i.Comp family is absolutely oil-free.

Last but not least: A BAFA subsidy is available on top. The German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control will cover up to 40% of the purchase costs for the i.Comp family.

ECONOMICAL COMPRESSED AIR SOLUTIONS FOR THE WORKSHOP

Even if the demand for compressed air in your workshop is not continuous or is only required in small quantities, the cost-effective solutions from KAESER Compressors are the right choice. The stationary piston compressors of the KAESER EUROCOMP series (EPC) offer economical solutions in limited space.

Does low compressed air consumption necessarily mean high costs per cubic meter?

No not at all. Rather, it comes down to finding the right solution for your specific compressed air needs. Many companies rely on a stationary compressed air supply, but the demand is not constant and around the clock. For such applications, KAESER EUROCOMP reciprocating compressors are extremely efficient solutions.

FOR ENERGY-EFFICIENT, COST-EFFECTIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COMPRESSED AIR GENERATION

  • Quality compressor block of the KAESER brand, “made in Germany
  • High-quality materials and precise assembly ensure high air performance and a long service life
  • Efficient aluminum ring profile aftercooler keeps compressed air temperature low while providing effective contact protection
  • Motor is directly coupled to the compressor block to ensure optimized efficiency and low operating costs
  • Optionally available with retrofittable sound insulation hoods; these reduce the already not excessively high sound pressure level by up to 10 dB(A) thanks to low speeds
  • Double vibration isolation between the compressor unit and the pressure vessel as well as between the pressure vessel and the installation floor ensures vibration-free operation of the units
  • In confined spaces, the versions with upright air receiver provide a reliable supply
  • Delivery ready for connection

TECHNICAL DATA

  • Suction volume of up to 1,000 l/min with a required footprint of significantly less than 1m²
  • EPC compressors cover a suction volume range from 150 to 1,500 l/min at maximum operating overpressures of 10 bar or up to 1,000 l/min at 15 bar.
  • Depending on requirements, models with 90-, 250-, 350- and 500-liter compressed air receivers are available for selection

ATTENTION – NEW!

From now on, KAESER workshop compressors of the EPC series are also BAFA-eligible!

This concerns some 2-stage systems of the KAESER EUROCOMP series (horizontal and vertical), which receive a BAFA subsidy until 31.12.2023 for the time being:

  • EPC 420-2-…. (horizontal / vertical)
  • EPC 550-2-… (horizontal / vertical)
  • EPC 750-2-… (horizontal / vertical)
  • EPC 1000-2-… (horizontal / vertical)

Energy-saving compressed air compact station KAESER SXC series

COMPACT POWER, BIG COMPRESSED AIR

The KAESER SXC compact station from KAESER Compressors offers an efficient solution for on-demand compressed air generation that is quiet, cost and space efficient. Compared to conventional piston compressors, the KAESER SXC enables annual energy savings of up to 800 euros.

Many craft businesses still use an older piston compressor that reliably delivers compressed air but often incurs high energy costs. In addition, these older models take up a lot of space and are noisy. As a result, there has been an increased demand for air compressors that are compact, reliable, energy efficient and quiet. The KAESER SXC series meets all these requirements in an outstanding way.

EFFICIENCY IN MINI FORMAT!

  • attractive, corrosion-free housing made of rotationally sintered polyethylene
  • Screw compressor with integrated refrigerant dryer, space-saving pressure vessel and electronically level-controlled condensate drain
  • Condensate is discharged from the pressure vessel and refrigeration dryer reliably and without energy loss
  • Powerful and quiet screw compressor with an optimized “Sigma profile” that allows more compressed air at lower energy consumption

TECHNICAL DATA

  • available with drive powers from 2.2 to 5.5 kW and volume flows from 0.26 to 0.8 m³/min (at 8 bar)
  • despite impressive performance, the SXC series models take up only 0.62 square meters of floor space, as they are only about as wide as a washing machine
  • efficient start-stop control of the Sigma Control 2 control system ensures reliable and economically optimized operation
  • Sigma Control 2 enables efficient communication thanks to the plain text display
  • continuous monitoring of the SXC unit to ensure safe operation
