AIRpipe

PIPING SYSTEMS FOR COMPRESSED AIR, VACUUM & NOBLE GASES

AIRpipe specialises in supply systems for compressed air and liquids. Made entirely of aluminium, the AIRpipe system is manufactured from high quality materials and is environmentally friendly. The products have only a fraction of the weight of steel pipes and steel connections, making installation easier. No other heavy tools are needed on site. The lightweight aluminium pipes and connections are conveniently packaged for immediate installations. AIRpipe‘s modular design makes the system ideal for both new installations and conversions, and allows for easy modifications.

  • Durable materials that resist corrosion, vibration, thermal variations and weather conditions
  • Metal fasteners for all diameters that are stronger and more durable than plastic fasteners.
  • Unique gripper concept with wide contact area (20 – 50 mm) or convex flared ring (63 – 2000 mm), eliminating the risk of connection failure
  • Special concentric sealing ring where the sealing surface is actively compressed, ensuring a leak-free connection even in case of vibrations. This sealing concept doubles the service life and pressure resistance of the pipe connections.

THE TECHNOLOGY

  • DN 150 to DN 250: AQUApipe enables quick assembly and reusability thanks to the innovative clamp connection. The latest technology guarantees a full flow without cross-sectional narrowing. The clamp also ensures a secure, firm connection. The wide NBR seal ensures that the AQUApipe pipe performance system is 100% leak-free. Customers benefit from absolute reliability and longevity for their applications.
  • 18 mm to 108 mm: Benefit from the M-profile press fittings with integrated NBR seals (EPDM and FKM seals available), resistant to oils and moisture, perfect for use with compressed air, vacuum, inert gases and industrial liquids. COMPRESSED AIR PIPES AND CONNECTION SYSTEMS

Intelligent, modular line systems made of aluminium or stainless steel with innovative connection technology for easy and quick installations. TRANSAIR‘s line systems have a long service life, low weight, low flow resistance and can be expanded at any time.

Types

Calibrated aluminium tubes

Certified QUALICOAT powder coating in blue (RAL 5012/BS1710) and grey (RAL 7001).

  • Compatible media: compressed air, vacuum, nitrogen, argon
  • Max. operating pressure: -13 bar from -20 ° C to + 60 °C / – 16 bar from -20 °C to + 45 °C
  • Vacuum: 98.7 % (13 mbar absolute pressure)
  • Operating temperature: – 20 °C + 60 °C
  • Extruded pipe (according to standards: EN755.2, EN755.8 and EN753.3)

Ball valves and butterfly valves

The regular installation of Transair ball valves or butterfly valves within the network and at key points – e.g. compressor outlets or outlets to pneumatic tools – allows easy isolation of network sections for adjustment or maintenance.
