More safety and efficient product recovery

Star-pleated dust filter elements with iFix_ technology from Filtration Group Industrial find their application in the separation of very fine particles from gases. The dust-laden gas flows through the filter element from the outside to the inside and exits through the upper, open end disc. A filter cake forms on the element surface, which is efficiently and gently cleaned off by means of jet pulses or by a rotating air nozzle.

Conventional wrinkle stabilization systems on the product side (raw gas side) can be easily replaced by the new FG iFix technology. This completely eliminates the formation of deposits on conventional banding and the introduction of foreign matter into the product. With the iFix technology, Filtration Group Industrial is responding to long-standing problems on the market that have become apparent with the use of membrane filter elements.

Compact Filter Elements (CFE TM)

Clear Edge Filtration has been a leading manufacturer of compact filter elements for critical dust collection processes for more than 30 years. The products have been delivering top performance in laser cutting, wet painting, mining and tunneling applications for many years. Compact filter elements provide a large filtration surface, allowing them to filter high volume flows with a small size. Compact filter elements can be cleaned well by jet pulse cleaning, even with critical dusts due to their open folding. This results in low differential pressures and a long service life.

CFE™ for laser cutters are made of polyester fleece with a high efficiency PTFE membrane. They are H13 certified and fit perfectly into your filter system.

Flyer compact filter elements for laser cutting machines

Compact filter elements ( CFE™) have been used in filter systems from Keller Lufttechnik for many years. The economical filter solutions are available as an alternative in all sizes. The product portfolio ranges from small filter plates 800/12 for Vario 1 systems, through medium filter plates 1200/18 for the Vario 2 system, to large filter plates for the systems of the Vario 3 to 6 series. The 1200/18R and 1500/18R filter plates installed on the clean gas side for the Keller PT systems are also available as CFE™.

Cleaning units

Years of practical experience and extensive development tests provide the basis for two economical cleaning systems.

MULTI-JET NOZZLE: CLEANING UNIT WITH PRESSURE IMPULSE

The optimized multi-jet nozzle (MJD) is the most affordable and effective jet pulse cleaning system for star-pleated band-rolled filtration elements (concial or cylindrical). By way of targeted airflow (short pressure impulses against the flow direction), uniform cleaning is achieved throughout the entire length of the filtration element.

ROTATING WING: CLEANING UNIT FOR CONICAL AND CYLINDRICAL FILTER ELEMENTS

The effective overall solutation for star-pleated conicalor cylindrical filtration elements. The rotating wings (RLD/RLK)allow you to achieve efficient, uniform cleaning over the entire length of the filter. The dust filter cake is reliably removed within the filtration element pleats through the use of rotating wings with fine pulsed air jets and simultaneous circular motions. This system works particularly efficiently with conical filter elements. Through greatly reduced up-flow velocities and improved cleaning behavior, these elements can withstand up to 30 % higher loads and achieve markedly improved operation hours.

Oil mist separators

Oil aerosol separator units efficiently protect workers, operating equipment and production facilities from cooling aerosol lubricants while boosting productivity. Based on the highly efficient coalescer principle, they achieve separation rates for non-water miscible cooling lubricants and cooling lubricant emulsions that are far below the legally stipulated thresholds for air purity. Even in the case of very high raw gas loads, your equipment will continue to operate reliably, with efficient service intervals and service lives up to 2 years.

Oil mist separators are used in the following industries:

  • Plant and mechanical engineering
  • Machine tools
  • Precision machines
  • Drive technology
  • Automotive
  • Energy and power plant technology
Flyer Oil mist separator LGA

In machining and forming processes, cooling lubricants are used from which oil mist is formed under high pressure and heat development. This must be extracted from the machine’s work area and cleaned in order to comply with legally defined specifications for maximum workplace concentration (MAK) and workplace limit values (AGW).

The LGAir Basic/Advanced O600/E1200 is an aerosol separator that meets the challenges of the metal cutting machine tool and provides the necessary clean air to the employees. The filtration is divided into pre-separation, main filtration, fine filtration and HEPA filtration.

Oil separator elements

High-performance filter element for separating cooling lubricants from machine tool exhaust air. Suitable for non-water-miscible cooling lubricants (cutting, grinding, drilling oil), oil aerosol from machine tools, as well as for water-miscible cooling lubricants.

The oil aerosols are extracted from the machining area of machine tools. The oil-laden air flow passes through the coalescer element from the inside to the outside. The oil accumulates on the filter fleece as it flows through the filter. In the process, the smallest oil droplets are brought together to from larger droplets, i.e. the droplets “coalesce”.

FEATURES

  • High separation efficiency at low differential pressure
  • Long service life due to the coalescer principle

Tank vent / aerosol separator Pi 0190 MOL

AIR FILTER WITH INTEGRATED OIL SEPARATOR ELEMENT FOR EFFICIENT PROTECTION OF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

The rapid and continuous suction and return processes of hydraulic oils promote the formation of oil mist in tanks and return containers. This oil mist can enter the environment through the tank vent filters and lead to contamination there. This often impairs work, as the oil mist can be harmful to employees in certain concentrations.

The Pi 0190 tank vent with MOL element was specially developed for the ventilation and deaeration of hydraulic tanks. When air is sucked in, it prevents dirt particles from entering the hydraulic system, and when air is released from the tank, it prevents the oil mist from spreading into the ambient air.

The MOL element achieves an excellent separation efficiency of 99.99% for particles of 1 µm and can filter up to 99% of oil mist from the air. The oil mist flows through a glass fiber layer, where it is separated by inertia, sieving effect and diffusion on the fibers. As it passes through the filter, the small oil droplets combine to form larger drops or an oil film. These collect on the outflow side of the filter element and are guided downwards through a drainage fleece using gravity. The separated oil can be drained into a leak tank via a drain. With a check valve and a line filter, the oil can be returned to the oil reservoir while maintaining the necessary purity class.

The Pi 0190 MOL is also suitable as an aerosol separator and vent for containers and systems that are under permanent overpressure.
