Whether composites, special coatings, blended fibres, cellulose or polyester fleece with PET nanofibers, or electrically conductive polyester fleece with PTFE membrane and FDA and EU 10/2011 approval – we always offer you the optimum filter performance for your application.

Efficient and proven production technologies

How to take filtration performance to the extreme? With Filtration Group‘s Industrial leading expert knowledge and latest production technology. We perfectly place the filters in pleats and make use of ridges and pleat lock technology to maintain the ideal degree of spacing – for greater performance and longer serfice life.

Types

Ridges technology

  • Perfect pleat distribution and stabilization with polyester filter media due to ridges of the filter media
  • Optimum utilization of the entire filter surface up to the pleat collar (at 50 mm pleat depth)
  • Up to 44 percent higher performance due to very low differential pressures and excellent cleanability of the filter elements.

Pleat Lock Technology

  • Perfect pleat distribution and stabilization with cellulose filter media by embossing the filter material with a spacer lens (pleat lock)
  • Optimum utilization of the entire filter surface down to the pleat base (at 50 mm pleat depth)
  • Excellent cleanability of the filter elements at very low differential pressures

Filtrair Filter Media

Filtrair‘s fine and coarse filer media are 100 % synthetic. The high performance fibres consist of a multi-layer technology with progressive density and have a very high dust absorption with optimal pressure drop behaviour. Filtrair has a unique hydrophobic media line that has been specially developed as a low-pressure pre-filter for pleated static cartridge fine filters of combusion engines and air intake systems. This media line offers a number of valuable benefits:

  • Significantly longer lifte of static cartridges
  • Easy and fast installation and replacement
  • Coalescin function in high humidity conditions

Pocket Filters (Filtrair)

Filtrair pocket filters consist of progressive, multi-layer and synthetic air filter media. The pocket filters are fully rigid and impregnated. Diamond spacers are fitted in the pockets to ensure optimised aerodynamic flow behaviour. An aluminium ring in the frame ensures optimum stability. Filtrair pocket filters are welded and framed in PU injection moulding machines. They are mainly used in a prefilter stage.

The pocket filters are used in the following markets:

  • Air intake for gas turbines, compressors and engines
  • Wind Turbines
  • Automotive Paint booths / painting plants
  • Industrial processes (food / pharmaceutical)
  • Ventilation systems for e.g. public buildings, schools offices, computer rooms etc.

Conical Filter Elements

Filter elements in conical design offer clear advantages over the cylindrical design. Concial filter elements can significantly increase the performance of a plant without great effort. Due to greatly reduced upstream velocities and better cleaning behaviour, they can be uploaded up to 30 % higher and achieve significantly more operating hours.

Compact Filter Elements (CFE TM)

Clear Edge Filtration has been a leading manufacturer of compact filter elements for critical dust collection processes for more than 30 years. The products have been delivering top performance in laser cutting, wet painting, mining and tunneling applications for many years. Compact filter elements provide a large filtration surface, allowing them to filter high volume flows with a small size. Compact filter elements can be cleaned well by jet pulse cleaning, even with critical dusts due to their open folding. This results in low differential pressures and a long service life.

Ceramic Filters (Cerafil)

Cerafil is a low-density ceramic element that is very effective and efficient in handling submircon particles in industrial gas processes. The product family was extended to three specific product lines.

CERAFIL XS

  • Insert ceramic fiber base
  • Optimal removal of particles and acid gases at temperatures up to 450 °C +

CERAFIL GREEN

  • Made with technical mineral fibers
  • Strong and resistant
  • Excellent when a robust filter medium is needed and ceramic fibers cannot be used

Cleaning units

Years of practical experience and extensive development tests provide the basis for two economical cleaning systems.

MULTI-JET NOZZLE: CLEANING UNIT WITH PRESSURE IMPULSE

The optimized multi-jet nozzle (MJD) is the most affordable and effective jet pulse cleaning system for star-pleated band-rolled filtration elements (concial or cylindrical). By way of targeted airflow (short pressure impulses against the flow direction), uniform cleaning is achieved throughout the entire length of the filtration element.

ROTATING WING: CLEANING UNIT FOR CONICAL AND CYLINDRICAL FILTER ELEMENTS

The effective overall solutation for star-pleated conicalor cylindrical filtration elements. The rotating wings (RLD/RLK)allow you to achieve efficient, uniform cleaning over the entire length of the filter. The dust filter cake is reliably removed within the filtration element pleats through the use of rotating wings with fine pulsed air jets and simultaneous circular motions. This system works particularly efficiently with conical filter elements. Through greatly reduced up-flow velocities and improved cleaning behavior, these elements can withstand up to 30 % higher loads and achieve markedly improved operation hours.

Oil mist separators

Oil aerosol separator units efficiently protect workers, operating equipment and production facilities from cooling aerosol lubricants while boosting productivity. Based on the highly efficient coalescer principle, they achieve separation rates for non-water miscible cooling lubricants and cooling lubricant emulsions that are far below the legally stipulated thresholds for air purity. Even in the case of very high raw gas loads, your equipment will continue to operate reliably, with efficient service intervals and service lives up to 2 years.

Oil mist separators are used in the following industries:

  • Plant and mechanical engineering
  • Machine tools
  • Precision machines
  • Drive technology
  • Automotive
  • Energy and power plant technology

Dedusting units

Dust collectors provide optimal filtration for maximum filtration performance. Every industrial application is associated with a specific dust load. Since countless system parameters have to be taken into account, the technically and economically optimal filter design is a complex task. Dust collectors are equipped with highly efficient filter technology and are used to separate high dust loads and difficult dusts.

The basis for optimally designed complete filter systems is:

  • Analyses of specific needs and establishment of design parameters
  • Recommendations of the filter medium and cleaning system
  • Design and configuration of the filtration facility
  • Engineering draft and testing
  • Electrical installation plan and control systems
  • 2D drawings and complete 3D modeling
  • Calculation of operating costs and economic viability

Room Air Filtration SilentCare Pro

Clean air free of viruses, bacteria and other pollutants significantly improves our health. In rooms with a high number of people, the level of airborne pollutants can rise rapidly and thus increases significantly the risk of infections. As the level of fresh air cannot be guaranteed to the optimum level, SilentCare is the perfect solution. It is designed to filter air effectively, recycling the total volume of the room multiple times per hour to an extremely high efficiency ensuring ambient pollutant levels are minimised. Above all it operates very quietly. The noise level of SilentCare is well below the average noise level of an office (50 – 60 dB(A)) and guarantees trouble-free operation.

SPECIAL PROTECTION – FILTER MEDIA WITH SEPARATION CLASS H14

The three-layer filter media, certified according to the European standard EN 1822, ensures efficient filtration of airborne pollutants and fine particles found in the ambient air of closed rooms. Thus, pollutants can be reduced significantly. The filtering micro glass fiber layer is embedded between two polyester fleeces. This prevents contact with the filter layer.
